El setmanari religiòs ha parlat amb l’arquitecte i tresorer d’Amics de Gaudí sobre arquitectura sacra. Durant l’entrevista, Jané va dedicar algunes paraules a l’arquitecte de Reus. De l’obra de Gaudí, Jané va comentar que «res no és sobrer i tot ve imposat per un esforç mental enginyós, que cerca la síntesi formal i constructiva en l’estudi acurat de la natura i les seves formes».

 

Arquitectura sacra

 

El gruix de l’entrevista, però, va girar entorn al lligam entre l’arquitectura i l’espiritualitat, que viu el seu màxim exponent a l’espai sacre. «En l’arquitectura sacra el fi és el culte, el mitjà, la litúrgia», comenta Bartomeu Jané. «Quan l’Església celebra la litúrgia en un lloc, ho omple de ‘significat’, i això representa que quan un ‘lloc’ està dedicat ritualment pel seu ús estable de la litúrgia, passa a integrar-se com un element propi de l’acció litúrgica de l’Església, i no com un subjecte passiu o una espècie de receptacle», explica Jané.

Bartomeu Jané és llicenciat en arquitectura per la Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB-UPC) i màster universitari en Arquitectura i Art per la Litúrgia pel Pontifici Institut de Litúrgia de Sant Anselm a Roma. Jané és també tresorer d’Amics de Gaudí i un actiu divulgador de la figura i obra de l’arquitecte català, així com del seu coetani Josep Maria Jujol.
