A partir del 9 de julio la basílica de la Sagrada Familia comenzará a ofrecer semanalmente una misa internacional cada domingo. La celebración, que hasta ahora tenía lugar en la Cripta, pasará a la basílica con los mismos horarios que hasta ahora y se hará en catalán, castellano, inglés e italiano. Se trata de una iniciativa del arzobispo de Barcelona, Juan José Omella.

 

Cada domingo, a las 8.30 horas, la Sagrada Família abrirá sus puertas para aquellos que quieran celebrar la eucaristía. A partir de las 9.10 horas, se limitará el acceso al templo para evitar el movimiento de personas durante la celebración de la misa. Una vez terminada, el templo se abrirá de nuevo a los visitantes.

 

En total podrán asistir a la Misa un máximo de 700 personas sentadas y 2.000 que quedarán de pie. La misa dominical se mantendrá ininterrumpidamente durante todo el verano. Además, de cara al mes de octubre se prevé incorporar también a los domingos la misa vespertina, que tendría lugar hacia las 20.00 horas sustituyendo así la misa que actualmente se celebra a las 20.15 horas en la Cripta.
